Krista Mölder is a photographic artist whose works possess an exceptional sensitivity — a simultaneous presence of depth and lightness.
Glass art and photography art are united by their special relationship with light. The role, meaning, and significance of light become apparent in the work of those devoted to it.
In the spring of 2025, Krista invited me to join her in thinking through and creating her glass works (here referred to as “Flight Boards”).
It was a refreshing and inspiring experience — beautiful to see the reasoning behind her choices, to recognise meaningful moments, and to share in the quiet joy of the magical and delicate process of creation.
“Flight Boards” were exhibited at the joint exhibition by Krista Mölder and Riin Maide, “and then, suddenly, nothing” (curated by Aleksander Metsamärt), at ARS Project Space, 15 August – 7 September 2025.
